LACING WIRE

Lacing wire is supplied as the standard jointing system on all gabion orders. It is supplied in weights of either 1kg or 5kg coils depending upon the wire specification and availability. The wire is used to continuously lace the units together and also to form the windlass ties within gabions to support the mesh face.

HELICALS

The helical forms the strongest and most consistent method of jointing. The helical also serves to encompass the cut ends of the mesh wires and reduces the probability of catching/snagging where gabions are used in public areas.

Helicals are available to purchase at an additional cost.

CLIPPING TOOLS

The ‘C’ rings are fixed intermittently at 150mm centres to connect adjacent panels or gabion to gabion.

Please contact our sales office by telephone at 01782 692310 or email enquiries@enviro-mesh.com for our recommended supplier.

CORNER TIES

Wire corner ties are an alternative to the internal windlass ties.

They are easier to install than forming windlass ties as well as providing greater control to the gabion face.

Corner ties are available to purchase at an additional cost.
